My name is Jessica Collins soon to be Barris and along with my Fiancé and longtime
partner Jacob, we run Wigglebutts together! I am a Certified Veterinary Technician of 8
years and have been in vet med for 11. I run a Mobile Vet Unit here in Northeastern PA.
Other huge roles here are my Mom Robin, and my Dad Bill who live just next door, as
well as my sister Abby who is the best dog sitter and support ever! As a family, we
started the journey breeding corgis in 2013. We started with Pembroke Welsh Corgis
starting with Mowgli my heart dog and Rori, my parent’s girl, both of which are now
retired and still with us! We ventured into what we now call American Corgis a few
years later and are obsessed with the characteristics both the Pembroke and the
Cardigan corgis bring to the table. We have fine-tuned our program and now breed
both Americans and Pembrokes. Most of the Corgis live next door with my parents who
are huge part of the whole process here. These dogs are huge clowns in a small package.
We strive for optimal temperaments and healthy companions. I got my first aussie in
2014 and though she wasn’t well bred we learned SO much together and she set my
world on fire, and I will never look back! This breed took hold of me and became my
whole heart and I decided when I moved out of my parents and bought the house next
door that I would really get into raising these amazing dogs and it really took off from
there! I spent hours upon hours fine tuning my learning to find the most reputable
breeders and looking for testing, structure, and temperaments and really investigated
every single pedigree with a fine-tooth comb to find exactly what we are looking to
produce here. We learn something more about doing better every day and will never
stop! First and foremost, we strive an amazing temperament, and optimal health. That
off switch that this breed is known for is so important to us as well as a well-rounded
dog that can do whatever you ask of it whether that be lay on the couch or go for a 10-
mile bike ride. After Covid we decided to go full time with the dogs and give our all to
them, so Jake now stays home with them full time in order to provide all the training
and attention they need to be satisfied and well-behaved in our home and in public. We
got our first Doberman in 2020 right before covid and were not set on breeding when
we made the decision to get her Jake grew up in a family that raised them, and he
wanted the same for us, so we got our Roxy who is an absolute baby doll in a 100-pound
body. We are still learning a ton about the breed and plan to do all necessary health
testing before we have our first litter at the end of this year. We invite you to peek at all
our babies and enjoy then as much as we do! We can’t wait for you to get to know us
better!
